奔驰GLS450外观设计充分融合了奔驰家族旗下SUV和轿跑车的特点，车内乘坐空间方面，GLS的表现令人满意。身高183cm的体验者进入前排，头部尚有一拳余量。车内为三排七座设计，所有座椅均由真皮打造。内饰还将有更多个性配色可供车主选择。
性能方面 奔驰GLS450在路上不会让你感觉到它体型的硕大。奔驰GLS450标配空气悬架，自适应巡航，同时还配备车辆转弯时使车身保持稳定姿态的前后自适应防倾杆。豪华体现的淋漓尽致，让用户得到更舒适的享受。底盘采用空气悬架，具备地盘升降功能，独立前后悬挂，堪称霸道。不断张扬野性，硬朗的车身线条有一种不言自明的威严在里面，那个闪闪夺目的奔驰车标，令人心头一震。更为柔和大尺寸的轮毂和刹车盘都透露出浓厚的运动气息。
奔驰GLS450车身外观的变化遵循了奔驰“新豪华主义”的设计理念，这一代奔驰S级、C级、GLE级上出现的那些家族基因被巧妙地移植到GLS上，让这个大块头跟上了家族进化的脚步。最吸引眼球的是前格栅，超大的三叉星徽和双横格条极具辨识度。其他变化还包括新的前后保险杠、头灯、尾灯和车轮等。
内饰方面：17款奔驰GLS450加版采用了全新的三幅打孔真皮方向盘。最重要是全新设计的中控台，简约大气的设计即便是搭配木纹饰板也丝毫不显老气。另外不得不说就是悬浮式中控屏幕绝对是提升逼格的利器，比GL级的嵌入式中控屏幕好看太多。奔驰GLS450配备的独立式8英寸液晶显示屏，还增加有远程互联在线服务系统，该服务系统将包括自动紧急呼叫、事故救援，故障救援，远程车辆诊断等功能奔驰GLS450加版对下进气格栅进行了更加运动化的调整。前保险杠两侧开口更大，同时下唇采用银色镀铬进行装饰，并带有扰流槽设计。
